"My Band Plan", "we", or "us" refers to the IELTS learning platform that provides landing pages, student accounts, training, course content, support, and in-app learning features. This policy applies to our websites and app, including mybandplan.com, and related checkout or registration pages.

2. Information we collect

• Account and contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, country, and preferred language.
• Learning information, such as target band, test date, level, weaknesses, practice answers, Writing and Speaking submissions, progress, scores, and feedback.
• Payment and subscription information, such as subscription status, plan, invoices, and payment result. We do not store full card details on our servers; payment details are handled by the payment provider.
• Support messages and communications you send through WhatsApp, email, forms, or the platform.
• Basic technical information, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, technical errors, and necessary or analytics cookies.

3. How we use information

• To create student accounts and operate the platform.
• To build a personalized IELTS plan based on your goal, level, available time, and weaknesses.
• To provide feedback and analysis for Writing, Speaking, and other practice tasks.
• To manage subscriptions, payments, access, support, and troubleshooting.
• To improve content, platform speed, onboarding, and learning paths.
• To protect the platform from misuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements when necessary.

4. AI and learning data

Your Writing and Speaking answers and learning information may be processed by AI service providers to help generate educational feedback or weakness analysis. Please do not include sensitive personal information in practice answers unless it is necessary for you. Our use of AI is for education and feedback, not for legal, financial, medical, or other high-stakes decisions about students.

5. Sharing information

We do not sell students' personal information. We may share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate the platform, such as hosting, database, payment, AI, analytics, email or messaging, technical support, and professional advisers. We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights or students' rights, or as part of a business transfer such as a sale or merger, while protecting the information where possible.

6. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies or similar tools for login, security, remembering preferences, understanding page performance, and improving the student journey. You can disable some cookies in your browser settings, but essential platform features may not work correctly without necessary cookies.

7. Data retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, manage accounts and subscriptions, support students, keep necessary records, or meet legal requirements. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it where possible and appropriate.
